Banjo is a young male, around 10–12 months old and about 41 lbs. He has a striking, medium-length fluffy black, gray, and tan coat with speckled markings and bright, expressive eyes that give him a constantly happy, attentive look.

He walks well on leash and plays nicely with other dogs, but people are clearly his priority. Banjo truly loves cuddles and pets and would much rather sit close and soak up affection than spend time sniffing around the yard. He’s gentle, engaged, and happiest when he feels connected to his person.

As he settles in, Banjo has shown himself to be an easy houseguest. He enjoys playing with toys on his own, tossing around small stuffies and happily chewing on Benebones. He doesn’t go out of his way to interact with other dogs or the cat, and while he may show a brief chase instinct if the cat runs, he responds immediately to a simple “leave it.” He also sleeps quietly through the night and doesn’t make a sound until morning.

Banjo is at a wonderful age to settle into routines, continue building confidence, and grow into a loyal, well-adjusted adult dog. He has a great balance of playful energy and calm companionship, making him a joy to have around.

Banjo is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations. His $420 adoption donation helps support our rescue efforts and allows us to continue saving dogs like Banjo.
