Bear is a sweet PomChi mix with a gentle heart who’s looking for a patient, understanding family. He can be shy with new people and needs time to build trust, but once he feels safe, his personality starts to shine.
Like many Pomeranians, Bear has a big personality in a small package. He has significant stranger danger and will do best in a quiet, adult-only home with low foot traffic and few unfamiliar visitors. He’s very food motivated, smart, and eager to learn, but he will need a family committed to continuing his training. A training class will be an important part of helping Bear gain confidence and succeed in his new home.
Bear loves toys and enjoys carrying them around and playing. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine companion to help him continue building confidence.
Bear is currently being fostered with Ricky, and the two have developed a healthy, fun friendship. They are perfectly happy to be adopted separately, but they would make a wonderful pair for someone looking to add two small dogs to their family.
Bear is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He’s ready to find the patient family he deserves. His adoption donation is $420. 🤎🐾
