Griffin is a 6-7 month old, 40-50 pound guy with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give.
Griffin is a doodle, and while he may not look like a typical doodle, that difference may be part of how he found himself in the shelter. What truly matters is that his loving, easygoing doodle personality shines through. With structure, reassurance, and love, he is going to be an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
Playtime is Griffin’s favorite! He loves running and playing in the yard, romping with toys, and showing off his silly ping pong zoomies. After a fun filled day, he is happy to curl up close to his people at bedtime, always aiming for the best cuddle spot he can find. He settles nicely at night, knows how to sit, and is eager to learn more with continued training and encouragement.
He is a sensitive, thoughtful boy who can be a little unsure in new situations and around loud noises. He will do best in a calmer environment, ideally with a yard or a quieter, more country style setting where he can feel safe and confident. With patience and consistency, his confidence continues to grow every day.
He is respectful of other dogs (including the older dogs in the foster home), enjoys their company, and even does well with cats, showing no strong prey drive. Griffin is affectionate, gentle, and very people oriented, with a big desire to please. He is also learning good manners like leave it and is making nice progress with leash skills.
Griffin is neutered, vaccinated with vaccines appropriate for his age, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption donation of $420 helps support our rescue efforts and allows us to continue saving dogs just like him.
