Mila is a 1.5 yr old sensitive, thoughtful soul who takes her time getting to know new people. She’s slow to warm up and can be especially unsure around new people or men, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, she forms an incredibly deep and loyal bond. When Mila chooses *you*, it truly means something.
She thrives on routine and feels most secure when her world is predictable. Changes or things being out of place can be stressful for her, so she does best in a calm home that values structure and understands her need for stability.
Mila’s happiest moments are spent outside in the yard with her bonded human. That’s where her playful side comes out—running full speed, doing joyful zoomies, and soaking up the freedom of being outdoors with someone she trusts. When the day winds down, she transforms into a cuddle bug, happiest curled up close to her person at night.
Mila isn’t a dog for everyone, but for the right person—someone patient, gentle, and willing to let her set the pace—she will be an incredibly devoted and loving companion.
Her ideal home would be with an adult woman (or women) with no young children. Mila may also do well with a very experienced male owner who understands fearful or sensitive dogs. A calm, predictable environment will help her feel safe and confident as she continues to blossom.
Mila has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. Her adoption donation has been fully sponsored, but she still requires an approved adoption application to ensure the best possible match for her needs.
