Pepper is a male, approximately 3 years old and 18 lbs, with an adorable low rider build and a sweet, easygoing presence. He’s a compact little guy whose short legs and sturdy body only add to his charm.
He enjoys getting out for walks, taking in his surroundings, and spending time close to his people. Pepper is past the puppy stage and ready to settle into a home routine, while still letting his personality shine more each day as he grows comfortable. He likes being included and prefers to be near his humans rather than off on his own.
As Pepper settles in, he’s shown himself to be friendly with both cats and dogs. He’s also revealed a playful side — turns out Pepper is a bit of a toy 🧸 thief, happily stealing all the toys in his foster home and stashing them in his own bed! He’s currently getting the hang of walking on a leash, learning to use stairs, and continuing to work on his potty skills. Through it all, he’s proven to be a genuinely sweet guy. ♥️
With his low-to-the-ground look and expressive face, Pepper tends to win people over quickly. He’s looking for a home that will give him time to adjust, offer consistency, and enjoy getting to know him as he settles in.
Pepper is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. His $420 adoption donation helps support our rescue efforts and allows us to continue saving dogs like Pepper.
