Waylon is the life of the party and always the first one ready to greet you at the door! 🚪 This happy, social boy loves attention and brings smiles wherever he goes. While he enjoys fun and adventure, he’s also a total cuddle bug who would happily spend hours snuggled up with his people.
Waylon gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. He recently spent the day exploring Vanderbilt and was a perfect gentleman, checking in with his foster and listening well throughout the outing. He’s eager to please, food motivated, and learns new things quickly. During a visit to PetSmart, he met a young child and was incredibly gentle and sweet, showing just how wonderful he is with kids.
He walks nicely on leash both by himself and with other dogs, and he’s doing great with his house manners, even letting you know when he’d like to go outside. When he’s not soaking up affection, you can often find him stretched out in the sunshine on the deck or perched on the back of the couch like a cat, keeping an eye on everything around him.
With his beautiful dark brindle face, adorable floppy ears, and easygoing personality, Waylon is impossible not to love. He’s a lovely mix of playful and relaxed and would fit beautifully into a home looking for a loyal companion, adventure buddy, and professional snuggler all in one. 🤎
Waylon is neutered, up to date on vaccines, flea & tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, microchipped, and ready to go home! His adoption donation is $420, which helps us continue rescuing dogs like him. 🐾
