Winnie and Willow are a bonded pair of petite chihuahua girls who truly find comfort in one another and will be adopted together as a duo.
Winnie is a small 2-year-old gal, a bit overweight at 13 lbs, with a soft coat and big, bright, curious eyes that make her hard to resist. She’s a thoughtful little girl who enjoys being near her people, soaking up pets and attention at her own pace. Winnie prefers calm, cozy spots where she can relax, watch the world go by, and feel safe. She’s gentle, affectionate, and ready for a steady, peaceful routine with someone who appreciates a quieter kind of love.
Willow is also around 2 years old, a hefty 11 lbs, with a sleek black coat, delicate features, and large expressive chihuahua ears. Willow is quiet and observant, preferring gentle interaction and calm surroundings. Once she begins to trust, she forms deep bonds and shows a soft, devoted affection. She will thrive with a very patient, loving adopter who understands the sensitive nature of chihuahuas. Because of her fearful demeanor and small size, a quiet home without young children would be ideal for these girls.
These two girls were visibly sad when separated, and it became clear that they feel safest and happiest together. Winnie’s steadiness helps Willow feel braver, and Willow finds reassurance in Winnie’s presence. For their emotional wellbeing, they will be adopted out together.
Both Winnie and Willow are spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations. They will need an adopter committed to helping them achieve gradual, healthy weight loss through proper nutrition and gentle activity. Their combined $840 adoption donation helps support our rescue and allows us to continue saving dogs like them.
